1965 Sunbeam Tiger Mk1
one famous motor racing family ownership for 60 years,
The Parker family are better known for their success in Motorsport with Team Parker Racing, a highly successful team in British GT and Blancpain. Whilst this is run by Andy and Stuart Parker their great grandfather, Albert Parker established a successful garage in Nuneaton in the 1920’s. During the 1960’s the garage was a main dealer for Rootes. His son Reg on his 21st birthday was given this stunning new 1965 Sunbeam Tiger.
This car soon became part of an extensive collection of vintage vehicles, including significant Bentleys and Vauxhalls. He owned a 1929 Bentley 4½ Litre that had previously belonged to the famous "Bentley Boy" Woolf Barnato and was presented with an award by W.O. Bentley himself in 1969.
HVK 665C stayed with the family 60 years until entering another well-known racing family last year and it is now available due to a change of direction of their collection.
The car has only 20k miles on the speedometer which is believed to be correct. The car is immaculate in every way and a potential concours winner benefitting from incredible originality having been kept fastidiously by the Parker family for 60 years!
The car is listed in The Book of Norman record of Sunbeam Tiger production and recognised by the Rootes Archive Centre Trust who have issued a certificate that comes with the car. The car comes with workshop manuals, 1965 issued “buff” logbook, spare wheel and tool roll.
This is an unrepeatable opportunity and is fresh out of a recommission and subject to an extensive Octane Magazine article out 26th November 2025.
Priced to reflect history and condition at £75,000
